New Project - 'OSSAs' With this page is I sounding out a new project with which to make Parking Pillocks grow. The only problem is gathering evidence for this is not as easy as gathering evidence for Parking Pillocks and DEFINITELY not something that you should do while driving.
The Project is called 'OSSAs' otherwise known as One Speed Suits All. I have been watching OSSAs on my way to work for a while now and I have to say it is something that is increasingly annoying me. Driving along behind someone in a National Speed Limit zone who is doing 40-mph is bad enough... when you reach a 30-mph limit and they carry on at the same speed... AARRGGHH!!
These people just 'don't seem to notice' the change in speed limit. That excuse is not good enough. In my opinion you should not be driving if you are not taking any notice of the change in conditions around the car. I am afraid to say that there are serial offenders of this kind of behaviour. These are women, particularly Mums on the school run, older people and people who live in the area where the speed limit is. You might think you are being safe by driving slowly, but you are only safe when it matters to you. |
